Meet Dr. Geoff Kerns: The Dentist Who Cares

Dr. Geoff grew up in Kansas City and was exposed to the world of dentistry at a young age, when his parents took him to get braces. The experience was transformative for him, and he was amazed at the way his dentist was able to renew his confidence in himself and his smile. His passion for the profession was solidified when he was hit in the mouth during a high school basketball game and needed to receive two root canals. Dr. Geoff had a great experience with his dentist and was inspired to provide calm, cool, and collected care just like the doctor who helped him.

Dr. Geoff studied biological sciences with a minor in chemistry at the University of Missouri – Kansas City, and he went on to earn his DDS from the same school. Immediately after dental school, Dr. Geoff and his wife, Brianne, moved to Memphis, TN for her to attend a Pediatric Dental residency at the University of Tennessee Health Center. During this time, Dr. Geoff worked as an associate at a private practice office in Arkansas and Tennessee. He gained experiences in all facets of dentistry and quickly became very comfortable with the idea of being the only dentist in the office. He had a great mentor who gave him the confidence and support he needed to really develop his skills.

Dr. Geoff's passion for helping people out of pain and restoring their confidence has only grown stronger as he's grown in his dental expertise. As an Implant Pathway-trained member of both the ADA and the KDA, he continues to hone his skills through advanced education courses in an effort to always provide his patients with the exceptional care they deserve.

When he's not in the office, Dr. Geoff enjoys golfing, playing with his dog and two cats, trying new restaurants with his wife, and cheering on the Chiefs and the Royals.
